DIVThe prototype Triumph sports car was badged 20TS and was unveiled in October 1952. It was not designated TR1 until the TR2 went into production in 1953. Later in 1954 the doors were changed, the rear brakes increased in size and a removable hardtop became optional. The TR2 gave way to the TR3 from Autumn 1955, the main change being the grille.
